Terms of Service

Effective July 14, 2026 · Applies to the PawPawCare app and this website

These terms are the agreement between you and PawPawCare ("PawPawCare," "we," "us") for using our app and website (together, the "Service"). We've kept them in plain language. By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who can use PawPawCare

You need to be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding agreement where you live. If you're using PawPawCare on behalf of a household or organization, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it. PawPawCare is a tool for pet owners — it isn't intended for children.

2. The early-access preview

PawPawCare is currently offered as a free early-access preview. That means features may change, break, or be added and removed as we improve the product, and things won't always be perfect. We may limit, suspend, or end the preview, or any feature, at any time. We'll try to give reasonable notice of significant changes, but preview access isn't guaranteed to continue.

3. Your account

Keep your account details accurate, and keep your password to yourself — you're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at privacy@pawpawcare.app if you think someone else has accessed it. You can close your account at any time (see how to delete your data).

4. Your content and your pets' data

Your pets' records, photos, notes, and the posts you create are yours. You keep ownership of them. You grant us only the permission we need to run the Service for you — to store your content, sync it across your devices, show it back to you and the people you invite, and process it as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for the content you add, and you confirm you have the right to add it. We don't sell your data.

5. Not veterinary advice

PawPawCare helps you organize your pet's health information and reminders. It does not provide veterinary, medical, or diagnostic advice, and it isn't a substitute for professional care. Reminders, schedules, weight insights, and AI-extracted details are informational and can be wrong or incomplete — always review them against original documents and rely on your veterinarian for decisions about your pet's health. In an emergency, contact a vet or emergency clinic.

6. AI document scanning

When you scan a document, we send the image to our AI provider to extract details for your review. Extraction can make mistakes, so nothing is saved to your pet's file until you approve it, and you're responsible for confirming what you keep. See the Privacy Policy for how this data is handled.

7. Sharing links

Vet share links and caretaker pages are created and shared by you. Anyone with a live link can view what it contains until it expires or you revoke it, so share them carefully. You're responsible for who you send them to.

8. Community and acceptable use

If you post in the community or publish a lost-pet report, that content is visible to other users, and you're responsible for it. Please use PawPawCare lawfully and kindly. Don't:

• break the law, infringe others' rights, or post harmful, harassing, hateful, or misleading content;
• upload malware, attempt to breach or overload the Service, or access accounts or data that aren't yours;
• scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service except as the law expressly permits;
• impersonate others or misuse lost-pet or emergency features.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules or put others at risk.

9. Fees

The preview is free. If we introduce paid plans, core tracking you already rely on stays free, and we'll clearly explain any pricing before it applies to you. Any paid terms shown at purchase will supplement these terms.

10. Our intellectual property

The Service itself — our software, design, brand, and content we create — belongs to PawPawCare. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app and website for their intended purpose while these terms are in effect. This doesn't cover your own content, which stays yours.

11. Third-party services

PawPawCare relies on third parties (for example, hosting, notifications, and AI processing) listed in our Privacy Policy. Their own terms may apply to their parts of the Service, and we're not responsible for third-party services we don't control.

12. Service "as is"

We work hard to make PawPawCare useful and reliable, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always be delivered on time. Keep your own record of anything critical to your pet's health.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PawPawCare isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or missed reminders. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Some places don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Ending the agreement

You can stop using PawPawCare and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive — like content ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — continue after the agreement ends.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as PawPawCare grows. If a change is significant, we'll say so in the app or on this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the new terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Morocco, unless mandatory local consumer law where you live gives you other rights.
